The F. W. G. Benemy Dining Club
(incorporating the William Ellis School CCF Association)
www.benemydiningclub.com

The chief purpose of this club is to allow former members of the William Ellis School Combined Cadet Force Contingent to maintain contact and occasionally dine together. Other OEs with regular or volunteer service in HM Forces are welcome to join as are any surviving members of the pre-CCF cadet units associated with the School. The club is named after and in honour of the late Lieutenant-Colonel Frank Benemy who served with the Royal Army Ordnance Corps during World War II and was Mentioned in Despatches in 1945. Frank Benemy taught economics and British constitution at the School and served as a WESCCF officer from July 1959 until April 1974 holding the appointment of contingent commander until handing over to Lawrence Halstead shortly before retiring.
